Hi, I’m Katya — a Cincinnati-based photographer working with high school seniors and entrepreneurs throughout the city and its communities.

My fascination with photography began as a teenager with a film camera and a realization: images are one of our most powerful ways to preserve a legacy. Today, I bring that same intentionality to every session — whether it’s the future-ready confidence of a senior or the steady ambition of a local entrepreneur. My goal is simple: to create a space where the camera feels secondary to the moment. When you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, the light does the rest.

I’m less interested in forced poses and more focused on capturing the quiet confidence that already exists. The best images don’t feel staged.They feel remembered. I’m drawn to light that shifts and moves. To moments that aren’t rehearsed. To the quiet split second when someone forgets they’re being photographed and simply exists. Photography is where I experiment, observe, and create.

It’s where structure meets spontaneity. And it’s where I get to celebrate the ambition, milestones, and individuality of the people in front of my lens.
